Job Description:

Cvent's platform delivers event marketing and management software for marketers and event professionals, and offers solutions to hotels, special event venues, and destinations.

  • Develop scalable web applications with critical design goals of performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
  • Create intuitive and interactive web applications using client-side and server-side code.
  • Implement Microservices Architecture, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) in real-life applications.
  • Collaborate with engineers to work on complex Software as a Service (SaaS) based applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Primary Skills:

  • 4-7 years of Software Development experience.
  • Hands-on programming experience with Ruby on Rails, Node JS, MVC, Web forms Framework.
  • Experience with contributing to architecture and design, including Design Patterns and Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).
  • PostgreSQL or related databases experience is a plus.
  • Queuing technologies such as RabbitMQ/Kafka/AWS SQS experience is a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • RESTful Web Services and API development using Ruby on Rails or Node JS framework experience is a plus.
  • Full stack development experience ranging from front-end user interfaces to backend systems.
  • JavaScript, React Js/TypeScript, Graph Query Language (GQL), Elasticsearch/Solr, Cloud Computing platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure Cloud experience is a plus.
