Lead Circuit Designer

A seasoned circuit design professional is sought to lead the development of innovative analog layout solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Circuit Design and Layout: Utilize expertise in CMOS circuit theory to create high-performance analog building blocks.
  • Macro Layout and Planning: Collaborate with designers to floorplan, power grid, and signal flow plan analog macros, power pads, and input/output pads.
  • Verification and Validation: Ensure compliance with DRC, LVS, EM/IR, ERC, PERC Latch-up, and PERC ESD standards through physical and electrical verification.
  • Blackbox Modeling: Develop blackbox models for other teams in the design flow.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • CMOS Circuit Theory: Must have a deep understanding of CMOS circuit theory.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with various teams to articulate specifications and requirements.
  • Cadence Virtuoso and Mentor Calibre: Experience in layout design and verification using Cadence Virtuoso and Mentor Calibre tools.
  • Chip Level Integration and ESD Concepts: Knowledge of chip level integration and ESD concepts is a plus.
  • LVS, DRC, ERC, ANT, ESD, Latch-up, EMIR, and Reliability: Experience in LVS, DRC, ERC, ANT, ESD, Latch-up, EMIR, and Reliability.
  • Signal and Clock Shielding and Isolation Techniques: Good understanding of signal and clock shielding and isolation techniques.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well as part of a team.

Academic Credentials:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Engineering: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an Associate's degree in Engineering.

Experience and Location:

  • 5+ Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience in analog layout design.
