Senior Data Architect Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect to join our team.

About the Role:

The Senior Data Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing data strategy in finance space, including controllership, FP&A, and GPO. This role requires strong technical expertise, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Design and drive end-to-end data and analytics solution architecture from concept to delivery
    • Develop and support conceptual/logical/physical data models for analytics solutions
    • Evaluate industry-accepted data architecture principles and standards, ensuring alignment with allied disciplines
    • Drive Azure environment setup and related services sizing
    • Provide mentoring on data architecture design and requirements to development and business teams
    • Review solution requirements and architecture for efficient resource use and integration of multiple systems
    • Advising on new technology trends for maintaining competitive advantage
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering multiple data solutions
  • ETL development experience using SSIS, Data Factory, and related Microsoft technologies
  • Advanced skills with SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, HDInsights, Azure Data Lake
  • Experience with different data models, including normalised, de-normalized, stars, and snowflake models
  • Data Quality Management and Data Architecture standardization experience
  • Deep understanding of operational dependencies, networks, systems, security, and policy
