Financial Operations Manager

About this role:
- Oversee end-to-end accounting and book closure activities across all three geographies.
- Plan, implement, and oversee the overall accounting strategy and day-to-day finance operations.
- Manage core accounting functions including general ledger, payroll, utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, and variance analysis.
The ideal candidate will monitor and analyze accounting data to generate timely and accurate financial statements and reports. Ensuring adherence to accounting standards, policies, and procedures while maintaining a deep understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure is crucial for success in this role.
Key responsibilities include driving timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures as per company expectations. The Financial Operations Manager will also assist the Controller/CFO with daily banking requirements, including accurate processing of positive pay transactions.This role requires collaboration with entire finance team and management to align with departmental and organizational goals. The successful candidate will continuously assess and improve processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and use of resources within the department.
Additional duties include training and advising team members on handling routine financial reporting and transactions. Design and implementation of MIS reporting formats are required to deliver standalone and consolidated reports to management on a monthly basis.
Skills and qualifications- CA / CMA / ICWA qualified with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), or semi-qualified professionals with 8 - 9 years of relevant combined experience (including training).
- Proven experience in overseeing accounting operations and managing general ledger processes across multiple entities.
- Solid understanding of Income Tax and GST provisions, with practical application to day-to-day transactions.
- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written, with the ability to engage confidently across teams and with leadership.
