Indirect Tax Professional Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Taxation Specialist to join our team. This role involves handling GST compliances, reviewing data sources for exceptions, and calculating eligible and ineligible ITC.
  • Responsibilities include:
  • Handling GST annual returns and ensuring accurate reporting of transactions undertaken by the company.
  • Proactively advising stakeholders on changes in law such as input credit eligibility and new compliances.
  • Driving correct processes/SOPs and documentation for tax positions impacting compliance and controls.
  • Preparing submissions in relation to assessment, Audit, notices, and appellate proceedings in various states.
You will work closely with teams across India to deliver services and identify opportunities for improvement within the tax function.Requirements
  • Candidate must have a CA degree with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in indirect taxes in a large company or consulting firm.
  • Knowledge of working on SAP environment is required.
  • Expert in MS Excel and MS Power-Point is also required.
This role is based in Bengaluru but requires travel to other locations across India.About Siemens
