NetSuite Professional: Financial System Specialist

We are seeking an experienced NetSuite professional to join our team as a Financial System Specialist. This key role will be responsible for bolstering clients' financial systems and processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for NetSuite functionality in Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, maintaining workflows, configurations, and data integrity to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Lead or participate in R2R-related projects, including implementations, migrations, process improvements, customizations, upgrades, and integrations with NetSuite's financial modules.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes by ensuring timely reconciliations, reporting, general ledger accuracy, consolidations, and intercompany accounting.
  • Collaborate with finance, IT, and external vendors to provide NetSuite support, resolve issues, streamline processes, evaluate automation opportunities, and deliver user training.
  • Monitor audit trails, support audit processes, generate required reports, and ensure system configurations align with audit and compliance standards.
  • Provide project updates to leadership, communicate risks or dependencies, and propose actionable solutions to enhance NetSuite workflows and overall system performance.

This position requires hands-on experience with NetSuite and Oracle Fusion Cloud/SAP. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, along with over 8 years of technology experience, including 6+ years of hands-on NetSuite expertise in R2R, accounting, or finance roles is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with integration tools like Celigo or similar middleware platforms.
  • Knowledge of other financial systems, such as Workday, Coupa, Avalara, Salesforce, and how they integrate with NetSuite.
