Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Perform manual testing across web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA or similar.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage and maintain traceability between requirements and test cases.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong knowledge of software testing life cycles and development methodologies.
- Proficiency in writing test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports.
- Experience with defect tracking tools.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Good understanding of different types of testing: functional, regression, integration, UAT, smoke, sanity, exploratory testing.
