About the RoleWe're seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a senior database administrator. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-complexity projects that set the standard for performance and reliability at massive scale.
Key Responsibilities:- Database administration, including performance monitoring, tuning, patching, upgrades, CPU/PSU installation, and database cloning.
- Installation and configuration of Oracle RDBMS software across development, testing, and production environments.
- Troubleshooting database-related issues and collaborating with support teams when necessary.
- 7+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years specifically in Oracle Database administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Deep understanding of backup, restore, and recovery strategies.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with Developers, QA engineers, and support teams.
- Solid scripting skills (Bash is required; Python is a plus).
- Good spoken and written communication skills in English.
