Structural Steel Modeller Job

We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Modeler to join our dynamic team at our Chennai office.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in 3D modelling using Tekla software and a strong understanding of steel detailing practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create accurate 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures software
  • Interpret structural and architectural drawings to develop detailed models
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable standards
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure modelling accuracy
  • Participate in model reviews and resolve clashes or design discrepancies

Responsibilities include:

  1. Modelling steel structures accurately
  2. Developing detailed models from drawings
  3. Ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Education: B.E. / Diploma / ITI in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in steel structural 3D modelling
  • Software Expertise: Proficiency in Tekla Structures is mandatory, AutoCAD
  • Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with AISC standards is an added advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and handle multiple projects

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles
  • Hands-on experience in steel structural 3D modelling
  • Proficiency in Tekla Structures and AutoCAD
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
