Instrument Fitter Role

We are seeking an experienced Instrument Fitter to join our organization in India. The ideal candidate will have a background in installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial instruments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that instruments are calibrated and functioning correctly to meet operational needs.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair various types of instruments and equipment used in industrial settings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine instrument installation procedures.
  • Calibrate instruments to ensure optimal performance and accuracy according to specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests on instruments to identify and rectify any issues or malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to optimize instrument systems for efficiency and functionality.
  • Document all installation and maintenance activities for compliance and quality assurance.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards during installation and maintenance activities.
Skill Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in instrument fitting or a related field.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
  • Solid understanding of calibration techniques and instrument testing procedures.
  • Familiarity with various types of industrial instruments and control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems is an advantage.
  • Relevant certifications in instrumentation or technical training.
