Job Title: MS Office Support Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MS Office support engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will play a critical role in providing expert-level support for our Microsoft 365 product applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform level 2 application support and incident management for our MS Office products.

  • Collaborate with level 1/1.5 support teams to resolve complex issues and ensure timely resolution.

  • Evaluate and escalate complex issues to level 3 engineers or vendors as needed to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or technology.

  • Relevant technical certifications are highly valued but not required.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

  • Familiarity with supporting a global user community and ability to adapt to flexible work hours.

  • Strong background in troubleshooting enterprise Windows, Mac, and iOS environments, as well as MS Office 365 applications.

  • Excellent skills in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to crashes, performance, installation, data loss, features, licensing, and deployment of Office applications and their add-ins within enterprise environments.

  • Expertise in supporting Outlook and native email clients, with deep knowledge of delegation, shared mailbox access, PST migrations, online archives, and related enterprise environment issues.

  • Experience working across multiple levels of support roles in the technology stack described above.

  • Responsible for incident and problem escalation and resolution for Office 365 platforms.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange Admin Center and delegation permissions is beneficial.

  • Experience with Adobe applications is an asset.

  • Knowledge of ITIL and major incident management is desirable.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and quality-focused mindset.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
