Senior Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Quality Assurance Manager to lead our quality assurance and quality control functions across all manufacturing stages. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing quality systems, auditing, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage quality assurance and quality control functions across all manufacturing stages – raw material inspection, in-process quality, and final product inspection.
  • Ensure consistent quality in machined components derived from castings and forgings through process monitoring and control.
  • Develop and maintain ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / ISO 14001 quality management systems and ensure compliance.
  • Manage and improve incoming, in-process, and final inspection processes for machined, cast, and forged components.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for internal and customer quality issues (8D, 5Why, Fishbone).
  • Drive supplier quality assurance for casting and forging vendors – including audits, qualification, and performance monitoring.
  • Plan, manage, and execute internal audits, customer audits, and third-party certification audits.
  • Own and lead the APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC processes for new and existing products.
  • Hands-on experience with quality tools like 5S, Lean, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred).
  • Implement quality KPIs (First Pass Yield, Rejection PPM, Customer Complaints) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to enhance product and process quality.
  • Manage internal audits and support external audits by customers and certification bodies.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a team of quality engineers and inspectors.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
  • Experience: At least 8 years of experience in quality assurance and control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, hands-on experience with quality systems and tools, knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001 standards.
