About Our Opportunity:

You will work on developing innovative healthcare technology platforms using Ruby on Rails and related tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable microservices-based architectures using Ruby on Rails, Sinatra, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement messaging/streaming platforms like Kafka, ZooKeeper, and Thrift.
  • Develop search functionality using SOLR and utilize AWS services such as SQS, hosting, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Evaluate and ensure security best practices, including bot mitigation using Cloudflare.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance using Datadog and provide optimization suggestions.
  • Maintain agile development environments and ensure effective communication and collaboration skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.
  • Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails and experience with Sinatra.
  • Proven experience working with microservices-based architectures.
  • Familiarity with Kafka, ZooKeeper, and Thrift or similar messaging/streaming platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with SOLR for search and AWS services (especially AWS SQS, hosting, and cloud infrastructure).
  • Experience with security practices, including bot mitigation (e.g., Cloudflare or similar).
  • Proficiency in infrastructure monitoring tools, preferably Datadog.
  • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working in agile development environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
