As a Senior Database Administrator, you will lead a small team of data operations resources, including database administrators and developers. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare, package, coordinate, and implement production releases and fixes.

  • Identify and advise on issues and Essential Job Functions.
  • Develop and utilize best practices, checklists, and defined processes.
  • Support during non-regular hours, nights, weekends, may be required.
  • Agile/Kanban, HIPAA, Health Care (Medicaid) familiarity a plus.
  • Demonstrated desire and capacity to learn new technical skills.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ten or more years of data management experience.
  • Strong expertise as a SQL Server Application DBA working closely with application developers.
  • Strong expertise in DDL/DML.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud, Amazon Web Services, SQL Server IaaS (infrastructure as a service), and Azure SQL database.
