Financial Services Specialist

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a strong understanding of financial processes, procurement procedures, and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Ledger & Controls: Verify and process purchase transactions and vendor invoices, ensure compliance with purchase order terms and payment schedules.
  • Vouching & Internal Checks: Perform detailed verification of accounting entries, identify anomalies, errors or discrepancies and flag them for corrective action.
  • Audit Support: Prepare and maintain audit schedules and reconciliations related to financial accounts, support internal and external auditors with required documentation and clarifications.
  • Cost Centre Accounting: Allocate expenses to correct cost centres in accordance with company policies, monitor cost centre budgets vs actuals and report variances.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory provisions.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.).
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills across departments.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools and data analytics software.
  • Experience with auditing and assurance services.
