Immigration Attorney Assistant

Our boutique immigration firm is seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to manage a high volume of cases, including NIWs, O-1s, EB-1s and PERM-based I-140s and I-485s.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review and edit NIV/IV cases with a focus on NIW, O-1, EB-1A, and H-1B visa applications.
  • Independently manage a large caseload while collaborating with inter-firm teams for efficiency and quality.
  • Communicate effectively with clients throughout the visa process.
  • Provide regular updates to legal teams and managers regarding case progression and status.
  • Liaise with governmental organizations, including USCIS, CBP, the US Department of State, and the US Department of Labor.
  • Support lawyers in procuring evidence, preparing documents, and ensuring procedural adherence.
  • Exercise strategic acumen and initiative in case assignments and delays.
  • Prepare and coordinate document production and RFE responses.
  • Maintain accurate records and track cases according to firm policies.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, ability to manage complex caseloads, and elite prioritization skills.

We require at least three years of experience in immigration law, with expertise in O-1s, NIWs, and EB-1As. A Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate are highly valued.
