Tax Professional Associate

This role is centered around assisting clients in responding to tax authorities and preparing replies to notices and appeals.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients in responding to tax authorities during enquiries, investigations, and audits.
- Develop and prepare replies to show cause notices and audit responses.
- Represent clients in meetings with tax officers as required.
- Prepare comprehensive tax appeals for the Joint Commissioner (Appeals) and Courts (Tribunal, High Court / Supreme Court).
- Assist seniors in representing clients before judicial forums.
- Conduct thorough research on various topics related to taxation.
Client Service Delivery/Execution:
- Identify and discuss technical issues with clients while considering firm risk factors.
- Manage tax matters including submission preparation, notice replies, appeals, and tax authority meetings.
- Build and maintain multiple client relationships, assuming near independent responsibility for smaller clients.
- Develop strong relationships with middle-level client managers.
Developing Commercial Acumen:
- Stay informed about industry-wide trends and developments.
- Apply knowledge to deliver solutions to clients, adding value to their experiences.
- Network internally and externally to identify new opportunities for existing clients.
Building a Strong Knowledge Base:
- Stay updated on the latest tax law developments.
- Contribute to the development of firm's knowledge management activities.
