Senior Associate Role Summary

The Senior Associate will play a key role in reviewing and enhancing tax knowledge for associates and advanced associates. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a collaborative team environment, providing exceptional service, and striving to create a positive and supportive work environment for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities:
  • Display a good level of understanding of basic and moderate tax concepts on individual tax returns (1040), and continuously enhance tax knowledge for associates and advanced associates through client work and staying up-to-date with tax developments.
  • Ensure timely delivery of tasks assigned to associates, focusing on exceptional quality.
  • Train and assist associates and advanced associates with their questions on day-to-day basis.
  • Assist the team in tax research to develop a deep understanding of tax theory and principles and apply them appropriately on individual tax returns to fulfill client requirements.
  • Enhance teamwork and have the ability to communicate with teams in India and in the US.
  • Provide assistance to managers on projects, as requested.
  • Demonstrate independent judgment and decision-making capabilities when preparing tax returns.
Skills Required:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and coaching abilities.
  • Good knowledge of moderate and complex tax concepts, including forms like 8621, 5471, 1116, 2555, 6252, and Passthrough reporting.
Qualification:

Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in US Individual taxation (1040).
