Job Title: Tax Staff - 1065

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced tax professional to join our team as a Tax Staff - 1065. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work with us in a dynamic and challenging environment.

About the Role:

This role will involve working on a variety of tax-related tasks, including preparation of tax workpapers, tax returns for 1065 - Partnerships (FS/Non-FS) federal and state jurisdictions return, and preparation of Federal and State tax returns for Corporate Taxation (1120 /1120S). Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing US Individual (1040) Taxation and assisting clients in implementing and maintaining accounting systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of Tax Workpapers and Returns: You will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely tax workpapers and returns for our clients. This will include gathering and analyzing financial data, identifying potential issues, and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Tax Return Preparation: You will be responsible for preparing Federal and State tax returns for Corporate Taxation (1120 /1120S) and individual taxpayers (1040).
  • Accounting System Implementation: You will assist clients in implementing and maintaining accounting systems and processes that meet their business needs.
  • Research and Analysis: You will research and analyze complex tax issues and develop solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 Year of Experience: You must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in 1065 Partnership tax or a related field.
  • Subchapter K Rules: You must have familiarity with Subchapter K rules and be able to apply them in complex tax situations.
  • CCH and CaseWare Proficiency: You must be proficient in CCH and CaseWare, as well as other internal tools used by our firm.
