English Language Teacher

Job Role: We are seeking a qualified English language teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in the relevant subject, obtained through the regular (on-campus) mode, along with a B.Ed. qualification.

Location: Our school is located in DLF Phase 1 and Sector 70A Gurgaon.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Candidates should possess up-to-date knowledge of curriculum areas, research, and educational trends in Education.
  • The candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

  • Establish and maintain records of curriculum and year plans, attendance, teaching resources, assessment plans, etc., and share them from time to time or on request.
  • Implementation of destinations & milestones & related strategies, Lesson Plans, Worksheets, class & home assignments.
  • Preparation for instruments of assessment and implementation of weekly, unit, term, and Annual plans for assessment and evaluation according to defined criteria.
  • Ensure the policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times.
  • Participate in Appraisal and Professional development (PD).
  • Participate and attend and lead where appropriate, the co-curricular, events, staff meetings, and extra-curricular programmes in the school.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the required curriculum; demonstrating accurate and up-to-date knowledge of curriculum and subject matter.
  • Plan and deliver quality lessons to motivate students.
  • Create and utilize appropriate materials and the classroom environment to cater to different learning styles.
  • Give appropriate, meaningful, and accurate feedback to students, both qualitative and quantitative, as per School Policy.
