**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planning and Control Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in creating work orders, following up with warehouses for kitting activities, implementing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), tracking material obsolescence, maintaining First Article Test Plans (FATPs) at optimal levels, fulfilling customer commitments without gaps, monitoring production rates against plans, and conducting daily meetings with cross-functional teams to identify losses and address issues.

  1. Work Order Creation and Execution: The selected individual will be responsible for creating and executing work orders for all sub-assemblies and finished goods.
  2. Kitting Activity Follow-up: They will ensure timely completion of kitting activities by coordinating with warehouses and stakeholders.
  3. ECO Implementation: The successful candidate will implement ECOs for all sub-assemblies, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruptions.
  4. Material Obsolescence Tracking and Execution: They will monitor and execute MO Aging tracking, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  5. FATP WIP Management: The Production Planning and Control Specialist will maintain FATP WIP at healthy levels, ensuring optimal production flow and minimizing stockouts.
  6. Customer Commitment Fulfillment: They will ensure that customer commitments are met without any gaps, maintaining a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.
  7. Production Rate Monitoring: The selected individual will monitor production rates against plans, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  8. Daily Cross-Functional Meetings: They will conduct daily meetings with cross-functional teams to discuss losses, identify root causes, and develop strategies to address them.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in production planning and control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
