**Speech and Language Therapist Wanted**

About our special school, Lady Andal House of Children, we are building a dynamic team of special educators and therapists to work with learners with multiple disabilities.

We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist who is passionate about supporting diverse learners and fostering inclusive education. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and implementing Individualised Education Plans (IEPs), providing instructional support tailored to students' unique needs, maintaining thorough documentation and reporting, managing student behaviour effectively, and adapting curriculum to ensure accessibility and engagement for all learners.

  • A comprehensive assessment of students' speech, language, and communication abilities using standardised tests and informal evaluations.
  • Development and implementation of Individualised Therapy Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific needs and goals.
  • Providing one-on-one and group speech therapy sessions to improve articulation, fluency, language comprehension, and expressive communication.
  • Collaboration with special education teachers, occupational therapists, psychologists, and parents to support integrated student development.
  • Maintaining detailed records and complying with all policies and regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders, valid certification or license to practice as a Speech Therapist, 3 to 7 years working with children and adults with multiple disabilities, familiarity with assistive technology and specialised instructional strategies, patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
