Job Summary

A highly skilled Interior Cockpit Engineer is required to lead the development and integration of cockpit console commodities and interior trims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional engineering meetings to ensure input and collaboration among teams.
  • Ensure design maturity progression from concept to sign-off.
  • Establish and maintain project plans aligned to program objectives.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance of systems, sub-systems, and components.
  • Define performance targets to meet quality and attribute requirements.
  • Develop and maintain validation plans, including in-house and supplier testing.
  • Lead failure mode avoidance activities and resolve design incompatibilities.
  • Manage suppliers to ensure timely delivery and attribute targets.
  • Support purchasing teams in sourcing and procurement activities.
  • Ensure effective implementation of APQP and deliver product plans.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
  • 5-10 years of experience in project management and engineering.
  • Proven project management capability and extensive experience in development and integration of cockpit console commodities and interior trims.
  • Detailed technical knowledge of design, function, performance, production, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Ability to manage costs, communicate with cross-functional teams, and influence at all levels.
