Software Quality Assurance Specialist Role

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Software Quality Assurance Specialist.

This role involves developing, maintaining and executing detailed manual test cases and test plans based on requirements and user stories particularly for software applications integrated with marketing platforms.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in creating and executing detailed manual test cases and test plans, specifically for functionalities involving marketing cloud data. They should be familiar with software development methodologies, tools and processes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining detailed manual test cases and test plans based on requirements and user stories.
  • Performing functional regression integration UI and exploratory testing of software applications.
  • Identifying, documenting and reporting defects in the issue tracking system, collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Participating in requirement analysis and design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules or potential problems including those related to marketing cloud interactions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Providing feedback on usability and advocating for the end-user experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on manual testing of software applications, including those integrated with marketing platforms.
  • Experience in creating and executing detailed manual test cases and test plans, specifically for marketing cloud functionalities.
  • Familiarity with software development and QA methodologies, tools and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
