Job Title: Senior Public Relations Consultant

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and ambitious Senior Public Relations Consultant to spearhead our communications strategy. As a self-motivated professional, you will be responsible for driving our PR efforts and aligning with our vision, values, and goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise daily with clients and media via telephone and email, building strong relationships and networks with colleagues, clients, media, and marketing teams.
  • Manage the PR aspect of a possible crisis, ensuring 100% client retention by managing client expectations.
  • Provide clients with information about new promotional opportunities and PR campaign progress.

Media Monitoring & Coverage

  • Monitor traditional and digital media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, social media, podcasts, blogs, and newswires.
  • Collate, analyse, and evaluate media coverage, tracking newspapers, magazines, and websites for opportunities.

Publicity & Campaign Management

  • Plan publicity strategies and campaigns, strategize, enable execution, and create quarterly roadmaps.
  • Prepare briefs, scripts, campaign taglines, and responses for interviews, write and disseminate press releases, articles, and features to targeted media.
  • Promote news stories and features, write and produce presentations, in-house magazines, brochures, reports, and promotional materials.

Event Management

  • Organize and manage press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours, and visits, attending and promoting client events to media and PR platforms.
  • Coordinate studio or location photography, speak publicly at interviews, conferences, and presentations.

Brand Development

  • Develop and foster relationships with brands and 3rd parties on behalf of the company, developing quarterly and annual roadmaps in line with client business goals.
  • Leverage partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising opportunities, liaising with marketing team to create cross-channel strategies.

Influencer & Thought Leadership Engagement

  • Build relationships with industry leaders to grow awareness, keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and influencer activities.
  • Conduct trend forecasting for clients and their industries.

Research & Analysis

  • Commission and undertake market research, researching new business proposals and presenting to potential clients.
  • Analyse industry trends affecting clients and recommend communication strategies.

Team Contribution

  • Motivate the team and encourage a friendly, open work environment, maintaining a network of resources to deploy when needed.
  • Ensure proper documentation across all initiatives.

This is a Full-Time role, In-Office based in Palakkad, Kerala, India.
