Machinery Automation Engineer Role

As a Machinery Automation Specialist, your primary focus is ensuring smooth machinery operation in a nutraceutical manufacturing environment.

  • Operate and monitor machinery according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Set up, calibrate, and adjust machines for accurate production.
  • Conduct routine equipment checks to prevent downtime and maintain optimal operations.
  • Enforce product quality standards during machine operations adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines.
  • Record machine operating data accurately.
  • Ensure material feeding, changeovers, and line clearance are performed as required.
  • Promptly report equipment malfunctions or abnormalities.
  • Support maintenance activities in collaboration with the engineering team.
  • Maintain a clean working environment adhering to safety standards.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in machinery rectification/maintenance within Nutraceuticals, Food Manufacturing, or Pharmaceuticals.
  • Hands-on experience with blending, granulation, encapsulation, filling, or packaging machines is mandatory.
  • Exposure to food technology processes is essential.

Necessary Skills:

  • Demonstrated understanding of machine operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with food safety and hygienic practices.
  • Knowledge of GMP and regulatory guidelines.
  • Able to conduct in-process checks accurately.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to SOPs.
