Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft advises, opinions, and compliance reports that meet the highest standards of quality.

  • Analyze client data to estimate tax impact on business transactions and identify opportunities for tax efficiency.

  • Develop scenario models to optimize business operations and minimize tax liabilities.

  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives through articles, monographs, and other publications.

Client Service Delivery:

  • Proactively identify and discuss technical issues with clients, ensuring a proactive and solutions-focused approach.

  • Handle complex tax matters, including submissions, notices, appeals, and representation before tax authorities.

  • Manage multiple client relationships, assuming near-independent responsibility for smaller clients.

Commercial Acumen:

  • Apply commercial acumen to drive business growth and profitability.

Networking & Opportunity Identification:

  • Identify new business opportunities for existing clients and communicate these to senior managers.

Knowledge Development:

  • Stay current with the latest developments in tax laws and regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and research capabilities.

  • Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented approach.

Desired Qualifications:

  • CA or law graduate from a reputable institution with a strong academic record.

  • 0-2 years of post-qualification experience in indirect tax, preferably in litigation or advisory roles.
