Production Planning Specialist

This role plays a critical part in optimizing raw material blending and production planning across global operations, focusing on efficiency, quality control, and data-driven insights.

  • Develop and manage blend schedules for pet coke feedstock worldwide.
  • Monitor GPC inventories and CPC production rates to ensure alignment with shipment schedules.
  • Evaluate sourcing options and logistics to minimize costs while meeting CPC quality standards.
  • Build and maintain business models using AI tools and Linear Programming (LP) for predictive planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally.
  • Handle SAP transactions and generate reports on production, inventory, and KPIs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in planning/blending, preferably in carbon/metallurgical industries.
  • Strong LP modeling and analytical skills.
  • SAP and advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for data analysis and optimization.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and adaptability in a global team environment.
