Data Scientist

At the heart of our business, we seek an accomplished Data Scientist to spearhead innovative insights and drive informed decision-making. This role demands a rare blend of technical expertise, strategic acumen, and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis: Extracting valuable insights from complex data sets by analyzing raw data, cleansing it, and structuring it for downstream processing.
  • Prediction Algorithm Design: Crafting accurate, scalable, and efficient prediction algorithms to address critical business challenges.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with engineering teams to translate analytical prototypes into production systems that deliver tangible value.
  • Insight Generation: Developing actionable intelligence to inform business decisions and drive improvement.
  • Dashboard Development: Creating and maintaining dashboards and reports to provide stakeholders with relevant information.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Experience: Possessing 3–5 years of professional experience in quantitative analytics, data modeling, or applied machine learning.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrating strong understanding of predictive modeling, machine learning, clustering, classification techniques, and algorithms.
  • Programming Proficiency: Exhibiting proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, SQL (with knowledge of C/C++/Java being a plus).
  • Big Data Experience: Having hands-on experience with big data frameworks and cloud environments (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, GCP, AWS, or Azure).
  • Data Visualization: Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent).
  • Problem-Solving: Showing a strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
