Director - Comms Planning Role

At GroupM, we're seeking a highly skilled Director - Comms Planning to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for decoding a vast universe of data, marrying various data sources (online/offline), and funnelling it down to arrive at data-backed actionable consumer insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team to contribute to the Content Strategy and Listening function and streamline operations/reporting with minimal supervision
  • Bring fresh thinking and insights which is data-backed to enable the content team to develop insightful work
  • Integrate and learn the different streams of work/processes in data and digital

Requirements:

  • Possess organizational skills in the form of written and oral communication, critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem analysis
  • High proficiency on social listening and monitoring tools, well-versed with social media benchmarking tools, broad knowledge of Microsoft office (PowerPoint, word, and excel) and good presentation skills
  • Strategic, analytical, and problem-solving approach but with a creative bent of mind is a must
  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Understanding of general business, digital, and social media platforms and technology in general
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams across different expertise and collaborate with internal and external teams
  • Demonstrate a combination of highly quantitative analytical skills, strategic judgment, and creativity
  • Tracking time-resource engagement for all projects to ensure timely deliveries
  • Someone who is proactive, takes initiative, and demonstrates the ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and highly competitive environment
  • Very quick learner, resourceful, with smart problem-solving skills
