We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to create high-quality documentation and procedures for hardware-related products.

The ideal candidate will have experience in technical writing, with a background in engineering, physics, or mathematics. They should be proficient in DITA XML and have strong experience with MS Word and XML-based editors.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively in a matrix environment, communicating effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Develop and maintain user manuals, service procedures, upgrade guides, online help, and release notes for hardware products.">
  • Gather information through interviews with engineers, product experts, and technical staff.">
  • Research technical data and convert it into well-structured documentation for both technical and non-technical users.">
  • Conduct review sessions with stakeholders and apply feedback to documentation.">
  • Validate and test new procedures; revise documentation based on real-world usability.">
  • Follow industry-standard documentation templates and quality standards.">
  • Maintain project documentation, update trackers, manage stakeholder expectations, and communicate progress.">

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.">
  • 2-8 years of experience in technical writing (hardware or software background accepted).">
  • Proficiency in DITA XML (preferred for higher success in interviews).">
  • Strong experience with MS Word and XML-based editors (e.g., Oxygen).">
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.">
  • Solid project management capabilities: tracking tasks, maintaining documentation logs, and communicating updates clearly.">
  • Minimum 2 years tenure per organization.">
