Placement Manager

Job Description:

Our organization is seeking a skilled Senior Manager for its Placements team. The ideal candidate should possess 8-10 years of relevant experience, preferably with a background from a reputable business school. Expertise in Finance, Business Analytics (BA), or Data Science (DS) is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Onboarding corporate partners for student placements and internships.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to onboard new corporate partners.
  • Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with existing corporate partners.
  • Negotiating and finalizing partnership agreements to secure placement opportunities.
  • Collaborating with academic departments to align placement opportunities with student skills and curriculum.
  • Organizing and facilitating regular meetings and communication with corporate partners.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of partnerships to ensure high-quality placements.
  • Addressing and resolving any issues or concerns that arise during placements.
  • Preparing and presenting reports on partnership status and outcomes to senior management.
  • Staying updated on industry trends to identify new opportunities for student placements and internships.
Required Skills and Experience:

Education: An MBA or equivalent from a reputable business school, with a specialization in Finance, Business Analytics, or Data Science.

Experience: 8-10 years of relevant experience in placements, corporate relations, or a related field.

  • A strong understanding of the placement process and industry requirements.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
  • A proven ability to develop and implement successful placement strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • An ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
