Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Animal Pharmaceutical Formulator to develop and supervise formulations for dog and cat syrups and supplements.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in pet-safe vitamins, minerals, and herbal extracts, as well as experience in animal nutraceuticals or veterinary syrups or tonics.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing formulations for dogs and cats syrups and supplements, powder
  • Supervising batch mixing, filtration, filling, labeling
  • Conducting QC tests (pH, viscosity, stability, palatability)
  • Approving raw materials and maintaining records
  • Guiding compliance with FSSAI and veterinary supplement norms
Responsibilities

This is an opportunity to work directly with the founder and contribute to building a dog and cat supplement brand from scratch. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing effective formulations and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Some of the key skills and qualifications required for this role include:

  • Strong knowledge of pet-safe ingredients
  • Experience in animal nutraceuticals or veterinary syrups or tonics
  • Ability to conduct quality control tests
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation
  • Relevant degree in pharmacy, chemistry, or a related field
  • Proven track record of developing effective formulations
