IT Asset Management Professional

The role entails overseeing the lifecycle of IT hardware, from procurement and deployment to disposal.

About the Position:

This is a high-visibility opportunity to build a new team from scratch and contribute to an evolving industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive asset tagging and inventorying of IT hardware.
  • Supervise, monitor, and report on hardware deployments, procurements, and disposals.
  • Manage and maintain relevant records and databases, including maintenance and support contracts, warranties, and inventory information.
  • Develop expertise in new software tools related to asset management and logistics.
  • Coordinate with Accounting and Finance teams for hardware audits and asset reconciliation.
  • Oversee asset valuation and calculate depreciation within our database.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external standards through regular audits.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in hardware logistics, life cycles, and inventory systems.
  • Required background in inventory management.
  • Ability to quickly learn and master new software, becoming a Subject Matter Expert in relevant tools.
  • Previous experience with audits is necessary.
  • Experience with software integrations and APIs is beneficial.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Capacity to create and improve processes within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinking to plan for global growth of local initiatives.
