Staff Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations of our organization.

  1. Create and present proposals for journal entries that accurately reflect financial transactions.
  2. Analyze and review the general ledger and sub-ledgers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  3. Prepare and send reports of pending transactions to clients for recording within our accounting system.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to collect required information and complete AR reconciliations.
  5. Support the department leader as needed and monitor operation status.
  6. Respond promptly to client requests and provide updates when necessary.
Requirements
  • A degree in accounting or equivalent experience is required.
  • At least 2-6 years of experience in corporate accounting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables and formulas), Word, and email is essential.
  • English language proficiency is required.
  • Flexibility in work schedule is desirable.
