US Mortgage Manager Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the day-to-day activities of the team, including management, attendance, training, hiring, recruiting, and performance reviews.
  • Evaluate compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations, ensuring adherence to RESPA/TRID guidelines.
  • Nurture relationships with clients, real estate agents, mortgage loan officers, and lenders, promoting a positive and professional image.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by streamlining residential mortgage loans and implementing quality control measures.
  • Develop coaching and training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and oversee the loan production pipeline, driving results-oriented performance and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage industry regulations, particularly TRID guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational, supervisory, and mathematical abilities.
  • Attention to detail and sound judgment, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in mortgage origination and correspondent lending, specifically in US Home Loan products.
