We're expanding our product line with a new payments initiative. Our stablecoin solution will cater to the growing demand in APAC, where we have a strong presence.

Our vision is to make cross-border transactions seamless and efficient. We believe that stablecoins are poised for significant growth, driven by their potential in payments and cross-border use cases. Early experiments and customer conversations have shown promising results, and we're now setting up the right team to scale.

Role Overview

As an Engineering Lead/Manager, you'll oversee the engineering team responsible for the entire stablecoin initiative. You'll lead hands-on backend development of web and mobile applications, designing and scaling systems that power payments and settlements. A big part of your role will be building solid, reliable infrastructure on top of fragmented provider APIs across markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead backend development of web and mobile applications
  • Design and scale backend systems powering payments and settlements
  • Build solid, reliable infra on top of fragmented provider APIs across markets
  • Lead technical discussions and own architecture for integrations and scaling
  • Mentor and manage a small engineering team across infra + app layers
  • Ensure security, scalability, and regulatory readiness in architecture
  • Own delivery timelines and establish engineering best practices

You'll collaborate with the team to drive innovation and growth, while ensuring the reliability and security of our systems.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of backend engineering experience
  • Strong in TypeScript/Node.js, and API design
  • Background in fintech or payments strongly preferred
  • Experience building integrations with external APIs/partners across geographies
  • Track record of leading small teams and scaling early-stage systems
  • Startup DNA: thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership, ships fast
