Device Development Lead

A seasoned medical device specialist is sought to lead the development of Meter Dose Inhaler dosage form. Key responsibilities include coordinating with manufacturers, conducting design verification, developing test methods/fixtures, and validating clinical simulations related to patient safety and efficacy.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of medical devices, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and simulation tools. A degree in engineering with 12 years of experience in medical device characterization is mandatory.

  • Lead workstream for Metered Dose Inhaler Dosage form, from device selection, development, troubleshooting to regulatory submissions and commercial support.
  • Support the development of injectable drug-device combination products.
  • Custom design/design troubleshooting of delivery devices.

Familiarity with aerosol testing methodologies, drug deposition modeling, and CFD/FEA tools is desired. Experience with MATLAB, mechanical force testing, and fixture/test method development/validation is also an asset.
