Job Title: Senior Software Test Engineer- Automation

 

Our organization is looking for a skilled Senior Software Test Engineer - Automation to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Cypress and Playwright.

 

The ideal candidate will have 6-9 years of experience in test automation, especially with Cypress and Playwright. They should possess a strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript for writing clean and effective automation scripts. Additionally, they should be experienced with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHubActions, GitLab CI) and understand web application architecture.

 

We are looking for someone who is confident in debugging and performance testing, has hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman or RESTAssured, and is familiar with test case management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr.

 

The successful candidate will thrive in Agile/Scrum teams and enjoy collaborative development environments. They should bring sharp problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail, as well as familiarity with Docker and testing in containerized environments.

 

As a Senior Software Test Engineer - Automation, you will work closely with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline. You will identify, analyze, and document test results, defects, and performance issues, and implement best practices for test automation, ensuring scalability and reusability.
