Key Roles and Responsibilities

The Financial Management Professional plays a pivotal role in driving business growth and success through effective financial management, reporting, and analysis.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance:
    • Prepare and review comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and manage budgets for various projects or operational areas.
    • Monitor budget performance and variances, providing actionable insights and recommendations for corrective actions.
    • Develop accurate financial forecasts to inform strategic planning.
  • General Accounting and Financial Analysis:
    • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
    • Reconcile financial records and resolve discrepancies promptly.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Team Leadership and Development:

  • Audit and Compliance:
    • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.

    • Implement efficient account payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Relationship Building and Strategic Partnerships:

  • Adoption of Financial Technology:

  • Required Qualifications and Skills:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or professional certifications like CPA, CMA, ACCA can be advantageous).
    • Proven work experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role.
