Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the financial management of projects and the organization, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to drive business growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with department heads.- Monitor budget variances and implement cost-control measures.- Provide financial projections to support strategic decisions.

 

Accounting Operations:

- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.- Ensure timely and accurate financial transactions, reconciliations, and audits.- Optimize financial processes and implement best practices.

 

Compliance with Regulatory Standards:

- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as needed.- Stay updated on financial laws and industry regulations affecting IT organizations.

 

Financial Controls and Risk Management Strategies:

- Establish and maintain internal financial controls to mitigate risks.- Identify financial risks and implement risk management strategies.- Develop policies to ensure data security and financial integrity.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with Finance, Operations, HR, and other departments to align financial strategies with business goals.- Provide financial insights to support business planning and operational decisions.

 

Requirements:

- Bachelor's/Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.- 7+ years of experience in financial management/accounting within an IT organization.- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting principles.- Experience with financial software and ERP systems.- Expertise in tax regulations, compliance, and risk management.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data effectively.- Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CFA, or CMA (preferred).
