Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Financial Services Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for underwriting strategy and assessing proposals based on usage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing underwriting strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Conducting thorough assessments of loan proposals to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Analyzing financial trends and data to inform lending decisions.
  • Preparing comprehensive proposals for management approval.
  • Managing and monitoring strategic portfolios to identify early warnings and trends.

Accountability Cluster 1: Turnaround Times

As a Financial Services Specialist, you will be accountable for adhering to turnaround times (TAT) on customer loan requests, as per the agreed service level agreements (SLA).

Accountability Cluster 2: Regulatory Compliance

You will ensure adherence to internal policies and processes by maintaining regulatory compliance and system data quality.

Accountability Cluster 3: Comprehensive Profile Study

A successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of financial ratios, viability studies, cash flows, and entity net worth checks.

Accountability Cluster 4: Team Monitoring

You will be responsible for team monitoring, mentoring, and appraisals to ensure high-performing teams.

Accountability Cluster 5: Policy Enhancements

As a Financial Services Specialist, you will provide timely input on policy enhancements and optimization.

Accountability Cluster 6: Knowledge of Regulatory Reporting

You will possess knowledge of regulatory reporting on account status and monitoring.

Accountability Cluster 7: Market Dynamics

A successful candidate will understand market dynamics and frequent visits to customers to build strong relationships.
