Senior Financial Operations Specialist

As a Financial Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations and ensuring accurate costing records.
Key Responsibilities- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business decisions, analyzing variances and identifying areas for improvement.
- Cost Records and Audit: Ensure accurate and complete cost records, conduct thorough audits, and implement controls to prevent errors.
- SAP CO, MM, and FI Knowledge: Possess advanced knowledge of SAP CO, MM, and FI modules, with experience in implementing and maintaining these systems to optimize processes.
- Independent Work: Work independently as a key member of the Costing Department, making informed decisions and taking ownership of projects with minimal supervision.
- Financial Accounting and Management Reporting: Analyze and interpret complex financial data, preparing management reports and providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Product-wise Costing and Margin Analysis: Conduct detailed product-wise costing and margin analysis, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements to increase profitability.
- Costing Roll-ups and Module Knowledge: Understand costing roll-ups, inventory analytics, and MM/ FI module knowledge, ensuring seamless integration with other departments and minimizing discrepancies.
- Make or Buy Decision Commercials: Evaluate make or buy decisions, considering factors like cost, quality, and lead time, recommending optimal solutions to senior management.
- Inventory Analytics and Control: Analyze inventory levels, provide recommendations for control measures, and establish effective controls on material recording and valuations.
- Cost Data Analytics and Accuracy: Conduct cost data analytics, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations, identifying areas for improvement.
- Audit and Compliance: Perform regular audits and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including transfer pricing and segmental financials, maintaining a high level of integrity.
- Certifications: CA/CMA Final or semi-qualified (with long experience)
- Experience: 1-2 years post-qualification experience as a fresher or with some experience
