About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our organization and contribute to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our critical systems.

This role involves working closely with development and operations teams to build and maintain highly available services, automate operational tasks, and monitor system health.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Scalable Infrastructure: Develop and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure for production systems.
  • Automate Operational Tasks: Automate repetitive operational tasks, deployments, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with Software Engineering Teams: Work with software engineering teams to build reliable and efficient services.
  • Develop and Maintain Tools: Develop and maintain tools for system monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
  • Participate in On-Call Rotations: Participate in on-call rotations and manage incident response to minimize downtime.
  • Analyze System Performance: Analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks or failure points.
  • Develop Disaster Recovery Strategies: Develop and implement disaster recovery and backup strategies.
  • Advocate for Best Practices: Advocate for reliability, availability, and performance best practices throughout the organization.
  • Document Processes: Document processes, architecture, and troubleshooting guides.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Proven 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering with tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, networking fundamentals, scripting, and programming languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or Ruby.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
