Job Description

The Coupa System Administrator role is a pivotal position within the Procurement Transformation team. In this capacity, you will be responsible for coordinating new releases of the Coupa platform, supporting business-as-usual system activities, and overseeing data troubleshooting efforts.

As the first part of our Procurement Transformation journey, we are implementing Coupa as our new Source-to-Contract solution to enable procurement transformation. This strategic initiative requires a dedicated individual to drive the successful execution of our Coupa System Administrator role.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless configuration changes and improvements, understanding data mapping between Coupa and legacy systems, and managing Coupa upgrade efforts.

Additionally, you will solicit feedback from business partners and stakeholders on system performance, functionality, and enhancements, and manage Coupa's performance in terms of system availability and capabilities.

You will also be responsible for managing role profiles and associated access permissions, writing or updating basic APIs for the migration of legacy data, and acting as an escalation point for stakeholders and platform representatives.

Lastly, you will coordinate release strategy and best practices across multiple test environments, understand the complete data flow from ERP to Coupa to ERP at the detailed level, and help troubleshoot issues that users may have.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience as a Coupa System Administrator with hands-on experience of the design, configuration, production, and ongoing administration of RPMA modules (Risk Assess and Risk Aware).
  • 3+ years experience with Coupas Risk Performance Management Advanced (RPMA), Contract Lifecycle Management Advanced (CLM), and AI Classification (AIC) modules as a heavy end user, technical owner, implementer, or system administrator.
  • Experience managing software upgrade cycles.
  • Experience with ERPs such as Oracle e-business suite as a heavy end user, technical owner, implementer, or system administrator.
  • Understanding of fundamental principles of S2P including sourcing, contracts, spend, and commodity taxonomies, requisitioning, PO generation, receiving, matching, invoice processing, and disbursement.
