Technical Author for Airbus IPC

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update and revise the Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC) for various Airbus aircraft models.
  • Work on ATA chapters 11, 23, 25, 26, 33, 34, 45 and 5X for Structure and Cabin.
  • Conduct impact analysis and manage change requests effectively.
  • Collaborate with illustrators and junior authors to develop content.
  • Perform thorough proofreading and quality checks on IPC content.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and regulatory guidelines.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with Airbus documentation tools such as SAP PCS, ADOC and CATIA.
  • Strong understanding of IPC structure and aerospace standards.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and supplier documentation accurately.
  • Familiarity with technical writing and illustration tools.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
