Cloud Architect Opportunity

As a seasoned cloud architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and proposing robust cloud infrastructure using open-source cloud orchestrators like CloudStack, virtualization, and automation technologies in complex multi-tenant environments.

  • Design and Propose Cloud Infrastructure:
    • Develop and propose cloud architectures using open-source cloud orchestrators like CloudStack, focusing on scalability, security, and efficiency.
  • Engage with Customers and Prospects:
    • Effectively communicate the key differentiators of our solutions to customers and prospects through interactive demonstrations and presentations.
  • Assist with Initial Product Evaluations:
    • Support customers with initial product evaluations and testing, ensuring a smooth transition to successful implementation.
  • Connect Technical Requirements with Business Needs:
    • Bridge the gap between technical project requirements and business objectives, guaranteeing the success of this position.
  • Respond to RFIs or RFPs:
    • Communicate the unique value proposition of our products through responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) or Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
  • Deliver Solution Presentations:
    • Present differentiated solution proposals and technical presentations that highlight the benefits of our solutions.
  • Manage and/or Deliver Validation Activities:
    • Lead and execute technical validation activities, including proof-of-concepts, to ensure the effectiveness of our solutions.
  • Build Relationships with Partners:
    • Establish and nurture partnerships with our partners to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Cloud Implementation Experience:
    • Proven experience in implementing cloud solutions in enterprise environments, with a deep understanding of cloud technologies and concepts.
  • Cloud Platforms Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with leading private cloud platforms like VCloud, OpenStack, CloudStack, and others.
  • Virtualization Concepts:
    • Thorough understanding of virtualization concepts, particularly with leading hypervisors like ESXi and KVM.
  • Container Technologies:
    • Strong knowledge of container technologies, especially Kubernetes.
  • Network and Application Security:
    • Excellent understanding of network and application security, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, web server, and database security.
  • Enterprise Products and Solutions:
    • Knowledge of other enterprise products and solutions like storage, security, and compute solutions.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills:
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing technical proposals, RFP responses, and Bills of Quantities (BoQs).
  • Project Management:
    • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Dynamic Environment:
    • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced international environment with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree:
    • Relevant bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience:
    • At least 7+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the cloud domain.
