About this Job
- Deliver quality assurance to drive business success by ensuring software applications meet requirements and function as expected.
This role is responsible for planning, executing, and managing the testing process to validate software applications.
- Analyze business needs, functional specifications, and technical documents to create effective test cases that cover all aspects of the application.
- Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Perform manual testing across web, mobile, and desktop applications to identify defects and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and deliver high-quality results.
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Provide timely and detailed test execution status reports to stakeholders.
- Support UAT by assisting business users and validating fixes.
Key Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Proficiency in writing test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Good understanding of different types of testing: functional, regression, integration, UAT, smoke, sanity, exploratory testing.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
