Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Ruby on Rails developer to lead our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale web applications using the Ruby on Rails framework.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in developing complex web applications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing large-scale web applications using Ruby on Rails.
  • Maintaining and upgrading existing web applications to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the business.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve skills and knowledge.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers to help them grow and develop their skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on web development.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Ruby on Rails, with a deep understanding of its architecture, features, and limitations.
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Familiarity with back-end technologies, including database management systems like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
  • Experience with Git/GitHub and other version control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
