Sheet Metal Designer

We are seeking a talented Junior Design Engineer with a strong background in sheet metal fabrication to join our team.

About the Role:
  • Create detailed 2D drawings in AutoCAD and 3D models in SolidWorks for sheet metal components and assemblies.
  • Develop fabrication drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and technical documentation for production.
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong technical knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication processes such as laser cutting, punching, bending, welding, and finishing.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and SolidWorks (3D modeling, assemblies, rendering).
  • Ability to prepare development drawings, exploded views, and assembly drawings.
Educational Qualifications:
  • Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (preferably specializing in Sheet Metal / Design).
Experience:
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in sheet metal design and fabrication industry.
  • Experience in commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration equipment, or similar stainless steel fabrication industries will be an added advantage.
